Is what the wind chill is outside as the sounds of cold blustery wind can be heard forcefully gusting and whipping through the trees out and around the sides of the house. Shivers run up your spine on frigid days like this, so I like to use a coping mechanism called visualization to reflect back on gorgeous summer days and the feel of the hot sun on your skin and the feeling of being surrounded by clear blue skies.
The sunflower seems to be the an icon of the summer season standing in full bloom at about August. It is a very spiritual flower and just on a physical level, all we have to do is gaze it its beauty to immediately feel the warmth and joy of its majestic appearance. If you stand and mediatate on it a while, you soon see the frenzy of work that goes on around and about it as bees are constantly coming and going carrying on the pollination process. Let us be like the bees in the heat of summer and busily dive into our creative projects with passion and purpose. I'll bet we will soon forget about the temperature outside as we feel the burning desire to plan, create, and execute beautiful pieces that reflect the beauty of our souls.
